Terms of service
Effective 2 October 2026ClassPlans (classplans.ie) is run by Appointmax, an Irish company.
The deal in six lines
- Free for one group, for ever.
- Plus is €9 a month, VAT included. Cancel any time.
- We never take, hold or move your group’s money.
- The list is yours. We process it on your instructions.
- Delete a person, a group or your account at any time.
- Irish law governs. Your consumer rights are unaffected.
These are the terms between you and ClassPlans, which is run by Appointmax. They are written to be read, not to hide things. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@classplans.ie and we will answer straight.
1 · What ClassPlans is
One link for a group you run. You set the nights, a cap and a cut-off; the people in the group tap the link to say whether they are in; at the door you tick who came. They tap a link: nothing to install, no account, no password.
2 · Your account
One account per person, and you must be an adult to hold one. Give us a real email, keep your sign-in to yourself, and you are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your groups’ links are used for.
3 · Your group and its people
You are the organiser and the data controller for your group: you decide who gets the link, and you hold the list.
- ClassPlans processes it on your instructions, as your processor, and only for running the group.
- A person in your group is a name and a key on their own device, and nothing else: we never ask them for a phone number, an email address or a password.
- They see the count, never each other’s names or answers.
- If you share a spare-place link when you are short, whoever opens it sees your first name, so they know who is asking.
- A child appears only as a name a parent answers for, and you must not put a child’s contact details in.
- If your group deals with money we work out each person’s share and record who you have ticked off as having paid; we never take, hold or move the money itself, so collecting it and any dispute about it stay between you and them.
The privacy page says exactly what is held.
4 · The register
The register is yours. It exists so a club, a hall or a dojo can hold attendance for safeguarding and for grading.
Plus exports it as a spreadsheet from You, and on Free the group’s page reaches back four weeks; nothing is deleted when you move to Free, and it is all there again when you are back on Plus.
Keeping it accurate, and keeping it for as long as your own governing body asks, is your responsibility; we keep sessions for 24 months and then delete them.
5 · Acceptable use
Four things you must not do.
- Do not use a group’s link to collect people for anything other than the sessions it names.
- Do not put anyone on a list who has not agreed to be on it.
- Do not use the service to send spam or to break the law.
- Do not deliberately overload or probe the service.
6 · The price
ClassPlans is free for one group, for ever, with no card.

7 · When things go wrong
We work to keep ClassPlans fast and available, but we cannot promise it never breaks. The list is a count, not a safety system: who turns up, and what you run with them, is your call as the person on the ground.
If we cause you a loss we are legally responsible for, our liability is capped at what you have paid us in the 12 months before the problem.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says cannot be limited, and nothing takes away rights consumer law gives you, in Ireland or in the UK.
8 · Ending things
You can delete a person from a group, a group or your whole account at any time: a person and a group from the group’s page, the account from You.
- Closing a group can be undone; deleting a person or a group cannot.
- Deleting the account closes it at once and deletes it for good 30 days later; inside those days you can write to us and have it reopened.
- Deleting cascades, so a group takes its list and an account takes its groups, and the privacy page says what little does not go.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and if we do, we will tell you why.
9 · Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect.
10 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and disputes belong to the Irish courts, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
